Guidance

Navigating through the ups-and-downs of life can be disorientating and at times, even frightening. Being supported by a guidance coach through this rollercoaster ride can often mean the difference between coping and being overwhelmed.

Working with a guidance coach is like having a personal cheerleader in your corner, supporting you in achieving your desired goals. Someone that is experienced, patient and positive; being consistently encouraging and yet firm when required. A guidance coach offers structured support in helping you process and overcome any fears, insecurities and confusion that may arise; boosting motivation and keeping you aimed in the right direction.

With over a decade of extensive Zen and mysticism experience, alongside twenty years of working within the community sector of central England, supporting and teaching a variety of non-academic, health and social issues (including meditation and Zen Philosophy) I am confident to be able to support you as a guidance coach.

An Urban Zen Guidance session offers the following…

  • A patient, compassionate and non-judgmental ear
  • Focus, clarity and simplification of the client’s situation and desired life direction
  • Identification and exploration of blocks and fears
  • An uplifting, life-affirming Zen perspective of the client’s journey
  • Supportive and accountable encouragement
  • Confidence building and stress management
  • Establishing the client’s goals and intentions

There are two ways to experience a guidance session.

  • FROM HOME (SKYPE, FACEBOOK OR TELEPHONE)

Enjoy the experience from the comfort of your own home, as I am now able to conduct guidance sessions via Skype, Facebook or by telephone, thanks to the magic of the Internet.

  • FACE-TO-FACE

If you would like to meet face-to-face, please get in touch and confirm my whereabouts and availability. I travel a lot, but if I’m within a reasonable distance to you, I’d be happy to meet in a quiet, public place to conduct the session. Please note that any travel expenses are to be covered by the client.

A guidance coaching session costs £40 and lasts approximately 60 minutes. Please note: Payment must be made in full prior to the session, accounting for bank transfer time.

Each client is required to fill-out an initial enquiry form prior to the first meeting, which covers basic get to know you questions, saving time in the session.

I always recommend the client record their session using the voice recording function on their mobile phone. This allows the meeting to be listened to multiple times, which is useful, as a lot of information is discussed and shared. It’s not always possible to absorb and digest everything that is said in the initial sitting.

If you would like to book an appointment or make an inquiry, please do so via the contact buttons.
